This addition and Master Suite remodeling project was recently completed in the Prospect Park neighborhood in SE Mpls.  Our founders, the Closes, designed the original duplex in the late 40s for the families of professor/later Mayor Art Naftalin and Dr. Boyd Thomes. Marilyn and Steve Peltier have owned the building for thirty years and decided they wanted to downsize from their family sized house and live in the upper unit. The new addition and Porch give them dramatic views of the Mpls. skyline in one direction and the Prospect Park Witch’s Hat/Water tower in the other. We added a large Deck on the South, open to the sun and sheltered from the wind.
